Thompson Auction Services help fund the growth of non-profits across the south.  We do this by increasing charitable fundraising from special events and saving organizers valuable time during each stage of their event preparations and follow-up.  We do this through our affiliation with 501 Auctions.  Our advanced mobile-bidding technology and tested best practices engage donors to give more and streamline administrative tasks, while our experienced team of associates ensures that clients are supported before, during, and after events.

 

 

Services that we provide include:

 

• Mobile bidding on your supporters' smart phones and other mobile devices, in addition to an online auction platform leading up to your event.   Supporters who are unable to attend your event will have the ability to bid on your items from anywhere in the world, while guests in attendance can bid without ever leaving their conversations.  Thompson Auctions helps you get more bids from more donors, ensuring your auction meets and exceeds its financial goals.
   

• An online and mobile platform to handle event management necessities such as ticket sales, mailing list emails, donor item management and "Appeal" or "Fund a Cause" commitments.
   

• Event-night, onsite staffing to provide direct support and ensure your success and peace of mind.
   

• We can provide staff to function as "Bidding Assistants" or we can train your volunteers to work with bidders without smartphones.
   

• Real time information during the event to let you know when you have reached the events' fundraising target and update guests about where the bidding stands on every item.
   

• A registration process customized to your needs.  Guests may preregister online, register at the door or create a bidder profile directly through their smartphones.  Thompson Auctions can pre-register credit card information for a quicker checkout, or collect payment at the end of the night for items won.
   

• Streamlined payment and tax receipt processing, saving your staff and guests time in the checkout line.  We notify each winning bidder via text message and email, and automatically send an itemized tax receipt when his or her payment is made.
   

• A catalog of no-risk consignment items to boost your event's revenue potential and give bidders access to hard-to-find items.
   

• A personalized auction website to deliver a look-and-feel that is consistent with your event's branding and message.  Space for sponsorship recognition is included, which allow for advertising opportunities over and above most events.
